Palmetto Bay families with kids who want to play soccer this fall have until Friday, July 31, to register without paying extra.
Knights FC, the youth soccer club based at Palmetto Bay Park, will tack on a $50 late fee for any registration submitted after that date, according to the club's website. The fall recreational season costs $565 per player and covers nine weeks of practices and games for boys and girls from pre-K4 through grades 4-5.
Season schedule
Practices begin the week of Monday, Aug. 31, at Palmetto Bay Park, 17535 SW 95 Ave. The first games are scheduled for Friday, Sept. 11, and Saturday, Sept. 12, with matches held at both Palmetto Bay Park and Miami Dade College Kendall, 11011 SW 104th St., Miami. The final games fall on Saturday, Oct. 31, or Saturday, Nov. 7, depending on the age bracket.
Practice days run Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday, with times staggered by age:
- PK4: 4-4:45 p.m.
- K-1: 5-6 p.m.
- Grades 2-3 and 4-5: 6-7 p.m.

Winter season registration also open
Parents planning ahead can already register for the winter season, which runs Monday, Nov. 16, through Saturday, Feb. 6, 2027. That season also costs $565, with a registration deadline of Friday, Oct. 23. The same $50 late fee applies after that date.
Winter practices shift earlier in the afternoon: PK4 players practice 4-4:45 p.m., while K-1 through grades 4-5 all practice 4:45-5:45 p.m. No practices or games are scheduled during Thanksgiving week (Nov. 23-27) or the Christmas/New Year's break (Dec. 21 through Jan. 2, 2027).
