Palmetto Bay families have until Friday, Oct. 23, to register for Knights FC's winter youth soccer season before a $50 late fee takes effect.

The nine-week season costs $565 and runs Nov. 16 through Feb. 6, according to Palmetto Bay Soccer's website. The league serves boys and girls in PK4 through fifth grade.

Practices start the week of Nov. 16-20. First games are scheduled for Dec. 4-5, with the final games set for Feb. 6.

The league lists three field locations: Coral Reef Park at 7895 SW 152nd St., Palmetto Bay Park at 17535 SW 95th Ave. and Miami Dade College Kendall at 11011 SW 104th St. The website does not specify which fields are used for winter practices.

Players practice twice a week. One group meets Mondays and Wednesdays; another meets Tuesdays and Thursdays. PK4 players practice from 4 to 4:45 p.m. Players in kindergarten through fifth grade practice from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m.

No practices or games will be held during Thanksgiving week, Nov. 23-27, or during the Christmas break from Dec. 21 through Jan. 2.
