The Town of Cutler Bay's 5th Annual Life Convention Expo takes over Mater Bay Academy on Saturday, July 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The free event is open to residents 60 and older.
Attendees can expect motivational speakers, exhibition booths, live performances, workshops, and refreshments, according to the town's Parks and Recreation department. Specific speakers and workshop topics have not been announced.
The expo is part of Cutler Bay's Active Adults program, which provides monthly gatherings and resources for older residents. The program grew out of the town's Age-Friendly Action Plan, approved by AARP and the World Health Organization in September 2018.
