Palmetto Bay families have until Friday, July 31, to register their kids for Knights FC fall recreational soccer before a $50 late fee applies.
The nine-week season costs $565 per player and is open to boys and girls from pre-K4 through 5th grade. Practices begin the week of Monday, Aug. 31, and the first games are scheduled for Friday, Sept. 11, and Saturday, Sept. 12, according to the club's website.
The season runs through Saturday, Oct. 31, with final games falling either that day or Saturday, Nov. 7, depending on the bracket.
All practices take place at Palmetto Bay Park, 17535 SW 95th Ave. The club also uses fields at Miami Dade College Kendall, 11011 SW 104th St. in Miami.
Practice times break down by age group. PK4 players practice 4–4:45 p.m., K–1 players go from 5–6 p.m., and grades 2–3 and 4–5 run 6–7 p.m. Sessions are offered Mondays and Wednesdays as well as Tuesdays and Thursdays, with boys and girls on the same schedule. The club's website does not specify which days correspond to which age groups.
Knights FC serves youth players from PK4 through middle school and operates year-round with four seasonal sessions: fall, winter, spring, and summer. The club also runs a competitive travel program for ages U7 through U19, with coaches licensed through the Florida Youth Soccer Association.
