Free salsa lessons, 2026 FIFA World Cup sticker trading, and a lineup of food trucks and artisan vendors are pulling Palmetto Bay neighbors out after dark every Thursday at Palmetto Bay Park.

The Sunset Eats Night Market, organized by Central Makers Markets, runs from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. each Thursday along Park Road in front of the ball fields and playground at 17535 SW 95th Ave. The series launched Thursday, June 11, and is scheduled to run weekly through 2026, according to the group's Eventbrite listing. Admission and parking are free.

The Thursday, July 2, market was canceled due to severe weather, but Palmetto Bay resident Barbara Ferenczi confirmed on Patch that the market returns Thursday, July 9.

"We are back July 9th & every Thursday evening at beautiful Palmetto Bay Park," Ferenczi wrote after announcing the cancellation.

What to expect

The market features food trucks, local artisan booths, sweets, lemonade, and live music. Kids can join painting activities for $10, which covers supplies, a canvas and an apron, according to Central Makers Markets' Instagram page.

Free salsa lessons start at 7:30 p.m. Or "Miami time," 8 p.m., as the event listing puts it.

A World Cup sticker trading meetup also kicks off at 7:30 p.m. near the walkway and restroom building. Tables and chairs are provided, but Ferenczi suggested bringing extra beach chairs because the trading area "was packed" at previous markets.

The park playground stays open until 10 p.m. on market nights, according to the Eventbrite listing.

The Village of Palmetto Bay promoted the market on its official Instagram account on Monday, June 9, encouraging residents to bring their appetites and come out for a Thursday evening of community fun.
