The Town of Cutler Bay will hold its free annual Halloween Spooktacular on Saturday, Oct. 24, at Cutler Ridge Park.
The event runs from 5 to 9 p.m. at the park, 10100 SW 200 Street, according to the town's event page.
The town's 2026 special-events calendar lists the event as the Halloween Spooktacular & Golf Cart Parade. Additional details about this year's activities, parade schedule and registration have not yet been announced.
Previous editions of the Spooktacular have featured activities such as Trunk or Treat, costume contests, inflatables, food trucks and a live DJ, along with a parade of decorated golf carts. Details such as parade times, the route and costume-contest registration rules have varied by year.
Cutler Ridge Park has drawn large crowds for other recent town events. The 16th Annual Chili Cook Off in January 2026 attracted more than 6,200 people, according to the town. The 8th Annual Wings Over the Bay festival in March 2025 brought more than 4,000 attendees to the park.
"Events like this provide an opportunity for our Council to be accessible to residents," Mayor Tim Meerbott said after the March 2025 Wings Over the Bay festival.
Maria Herrera-Mendoza, the town's events and programs manager, is listed as the contact for the Halloween Spooktacular. According to the event page, she can be reached at [email protected] or 786-459-7389.
The Spooktacular is one of several Halloween options for South Dade families. The Moss Center at Cutler Bay will present its free Spooky Symphony on Friday, Oct. 23, as we reported Sept. 30.
