Only a few roster spots remain in select age groups for Knights FC's fall youth soccer season at Palmetto Bay Park, according to the program's website. Families who haven't signed up yet will pay a $50 late fee on top of the $565 registration.
The nine-week season begins the week of Monday, Aug. 31, with first games scheduled for Friday, Sept. 11, and Saturday, Sept. 12. Final games fall on Saturday, Oct. 31, or Saturday, Nov. 7, depending on the age group.
Director David Vasquez's program serves boys and girls from pre-K 4 through fourth and fifth grade. Practice times are staggered: PK4 players train from 4 to 4:45 p.m., kindergartners and first-graders from 5 to 6 p.m., and second- through fifth-graders from 6 to 7 p.m. Sessions run either Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The fall season listing places practices at Palmetto Bay Park, 17535 SW 95th Ave. The program's general overview also lists Coral Reef Park, 7895 SW 152nd St., as a practice site. Families should confirm their child's practice location with Vasquez before the season starts.
Games take place Fridays from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Coral Reef Park and at Miami Dade College's Kendall campus, 11011 SW 104th St.
Spots are limited.
