Construction of six raised crosswalks along Kendall Drive in Pinecrest was scheduled to begin Monday, Oct. 26, with temporary closures at affected neighborhood street connections.

The paver-accented crossings will connect neighborhood streets to the new shared-use path along Kendall Drive, also known as Southwest 88th Street, according to the Village of Pinecrest.

Each crossing is expected to take about a month to build. The village anticipates completing the project in February or March 2027, depending on weather and field conditions.
