Palmetto Bay Village Hall will host 3D mammogram screenings on Wednesday, Nov. 18, in partnership with Florida Mobile Mammography.

The screening runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to a Village of Palmetto Bay announcement posted Oct. 28. Florida Mobile Mammography, also known as Invision Diagnostics of Florida, will bring its mobile unit to the Village Hall site.

Women 40 and older do not need a prescription to get screened. Women ages 35 to 39 also qualify without a prescription if it is their first baseline mammogram. All participants must have an active primary care physician or OB/GYN on file.

The announcement states that insurance covers mammograms 100% once every 12 months.

What to bring

Attendees should bring a photo ID and an insurance card.
