Coral Reef Elementary Parent-Teacher Association, or PTA, will host a free fall festival on the school's physical education field at 7955 SW 152nd St. in Palmetto Bay.
Trunk-or-Treat, Contest and Games Planned
The event, themed "Rodeo at the Reef," features a Trunk-or-Treat starting at 5:30 p.m., games, a DJ, dancing and food for purchase. A decoration contest for participating vehicles begins voting at 5:30 p.m., with winners announced at 7 p.m. The PTA has not published a specific date for the festival.
Candy Donations Sought From Families
Families can help by donating nut-free, non-chocolate candy to their children's classrooms from Oct. 14 through Oct. 29, according to the PTA's event page. Parent volunteers will collect and distribute the candy on festival day.
Costume Rules and Entry Point Listed
Western and cowboy attire is encouraged. Children may wear non-scary costumes. No masks or props are allowed. Attendees should enter through the Circular Drive.
